银湖投资集团近日宣布将推行“银湖Kraftwerk”投资策略 (简称“SLKW”) ，这项新的投资策略将携手索罗斯基金管理公司，为能源和资源领域的创新公司提供发展资本，资深投资专才Adam Grosser将领导开展相关计划。
据悉，新策略的运营会以美国硅谷和中国为基地，投资于能够采用高科技和业务模式创新来改善能源效率、减少废物和相关排放、利用可再生能源和更有效地使用自然资源等的企业。
银湖投资集团董事总经理及新业务投资委员会成员Greg Mondre表示：“银湖第四个投资策略投资重点将集中在能源与资源领域具有成熟技术和商业模式，并处于成长阶段的公司。”
Mondre进一步表示，“当今高科技领域的发展和目前出现在能源与资源领域的创新，两者在很大程度具有相似之处。我们筹划这一业务扩展已有一段时间，并相信Adam Grosser的专业知识和视野，与银湖投资集团的全球投资平台将能相互结合，为我们在发达市场和新兴市场的投资合作伙伴提供业务增长的机会。”
Mondre认为：“这一投资战略的目标是期望银湖在大型和中等规模市场的投资已确立领先地位的前题下，与未来几十年将推动全球经济增长的新策略相匹配。”
资料显示，Adam Grosser此前以合伙人身份在Foundation Capital基金管理公司服务十年，曾参与包括EnerNOC, Silver Spring Networks, Calix和Peribit等项目的投资，他也曾是相关董事会的成员。
银湖投资还宣布称，Adam Grosser先生将领导一支专业团队，成员中包括最近刚刚公布辞任奥巴马政府能源效率与可再生能源部副部长一职的Cathy Zoi，她将于今年四月加盟银湖Kraftwerk团队。
此外，索罗斯基金管理公司（Soros Fund Management）将在这个全新计划中担任战略伙伴的角色。
